We’re about to start the novel ‘Bridge to Wiseman’s Cove’, as such you are to write a prediction for the storyline. What do you think the novel will be about? What happens? Who will be the characters? etc. Write your response in a few sentences.

I think that this novel will be about a boy growing up and facing normal teenage problems but finds a wiseman who helps him out. My reason for this is on the cover of is a picture of a boy and the title is ‘Bridge to Woseman’s Cove’ The rest is all guesswork.

I think the novel will be about family and teenage life, what its like to be compared with your other siblings and parents , what some teenagers go through in life on the journey to becoming a responsible adult, about a teenager learning what its like to be brought up in a family where people around judge what this teenager is like because of his/her background(family wise)
