‘Alive’- the true story of a triumph of the human spirit…’one of the most controversial and inspirational tales of survival…forced to exist in sub-zero weather for ten weeks (after their plane crashed into the Andes Mountains on the afternoon of Friday October 13th 1972), the survivors of the Uruguay Rugby Team endured the unimaginable by doing the unthinkable until three of the boys left camp in an heroic attempt to trek out of the mountains for help’… ‘they overcame the impossible by doing the unthinkable’ – reflect on your thoughts to this film, think about to what extent would you go in order to survive…

One Response to “Reflective Thoughts on Film # 3”
I am Sam was a greater movie but it was really sad at the beginning and in the middle it’s bad enough that his wife ran off after Lucy was born and that he had to raise her on his own even though he is mentally incapable to raise a child but he manages with the help of Anne (the neighbor) who looked after Lucy while Sam went to work. After any started school the teachers were concerned about her education and that Sam couldn’t look after Lucy because he had the learning capacity of a 7 year old. I thought this story was sad and cruel to a mentally disabled person. I just didn’t like the movie in general
